rooted in goodness: a note from jamie

As a marketing professional, I’ve heard that marketing is kind of like dessert. It’s pretty, it’s tasty…and for a busy business-owner it can come last. All too easily, a marketing strategy ends up being “what we did last year.”

A dessert approach to marketing delivers just what you’d expect: a snooze fest.

The truth is, intentional (dare I say healthful?) marketing is a different beast altogether. That’s why I liken it to fruit and veggies. Pretty? Sure: antioxidants give one gorgeous skin. Tasty? That too. But best of all, they make a body strong from the inside out.

(If by chance you’re a person who really doesn’t like veggies and this metaphor is lost on you, don’t worry. I’m here to spruce those babies up till they go down as easy as midwest meat and potatoes.)
